Meditation is followed by study groups. "A Course in Miracles" is a non-dualistic philosophy which was written by Helen Schucman and William Thetford (both psychologists.) It is a self-study curriculum which assists its readers in finding inner peace. It aims to "remove the blocks to the awareness of love's presence, which is your inheritance." The introduction to the book contains the following summary: "Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God. No charge. All are welcome.

Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused attention. The word Qigong (pronounced Chee Gung) is made up of two Chinese words. Qi is usually translated to mean the life force or vital-energy that flows through all things in the universe. Gong means accomplishment or skill that is cultivated through steady practice. Qigong means cultivating energy: It is a system practiced for health maintenance, healing and increasing vitality. Qigong practices can be classified as martial, medical or spiritual. All styles have three things in common: They all involve posture, breathing techniques and mental focus. Some practices increase the Qi; others circulate it, use it to cleanse and heal the body, store it or emit QI to help heal others. The slow gentle movements can be practiced by all age groups as well as the physically challenged. Recharge your body and relax your mind practicing this self-healing art. Please join us and bring a friend.
