Your First Visit
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the service starts to meet with our family greeter just inside the sanctuary doors!
The family greeter on duty will introduce you to our Director of Lifelong Learning and help direct all members of your family to the appropriate space(s) for worship.
On your first visit, you may fill out a visitor information card for your family. After your initial visit, we will ask you to complete registration paperwork for our RE program. This helps us ensure that we have all of the necessary information to adequately provide care for your child(ren).
Registration paperwork can be found at the family greeter desk, from an RE teacher, or in the box outside of the RE Office.
A Welcoming RE Program
We strive to be a welcoming congregation for all. To this end, we understand the age is often not an effective indicator of the most comfortable classroom environment. We are committed to helping all our families find the most appropriate classroom setting for their child's individual needs.
First Service: 9:30 AM (Second Sunday in September through Third Sunday in May)
Infants, Toddlers, and Young Preschoolers
We provide programming for youngest among us in our early ages classroom which located in the sanctuary building. Children ages six and up are encouraged to attend the service with parents. A curriculum with stories, songs, art, and activities are provided to introduce children to the Seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism.
Second Service: 11:15 AM (Second Sunday in September through Third Sunday in May)
Elementary (Pre-K through Fourth Grade)
Children in Pre-K through fourth grade begin their worship at the 11:15 AM service with their families in the sanctuary. After the story for all ages, children exit with their RE leaders to large main room in the adjacent RE building. They participate in our whole church Soul Matterings program which opportunities to explore our monthly themes as a whole group and through independent exploration activities.
Middle School (Fifth Grade through 8th Grade)
Youth between fifth and eighth grades begin their worship in the 11:15 AM service with their families in the sanctuary. They leave for their classroom in the RE building after the story for all ages. Our program provides opportunities for them to explore Unitarian Universalism as a history and as a personal practice.
High School (9th through 12th Grades)
Youth between ninth and twelfth grades begin their worship before the service begins at 11:00 AM in their RE classroom. Our program allows them to explore and expand their awareness around current social justice issues.
Summer Programming: 10:30 AM Service (Last Sunday in May through First Sunday in September)
We provide programming for children up to the age of nine in our early ages classroom which located in the sanctuary building. Our summer program utilizes a character tales curriculum with stories, songs, art, and activities to expand children's connection to our Seven Principles. Children ages 10 and up are encouraged to attend the service with their families.
