The future is a complicated landscape.  Sometimes thinking about the future amazes and delights us, and sometimes it scares and angers us.   It is both personal and global.  This overview of “futurism and foresight” will orient members of our Unitarian Universalist community to what futurists do and how they do it.  It will invite listeners to complicate their assumptions about the future and hold new possibilities for how to lean into futures we want collectively.   Using the power of imagination, you will be invited to embrace hope and determination as we navigate uncertainty with love and equity as our guiding light.
