Our Whole Lives 4th-6th Grade Information Session
Have an incoming 4th-6th grader? You’re invited to attend an information session about Our Whole Lives 4-6 on August 9th at 7pm on Zoom. This is your opportunity to learn more about the program, ask questions, meet our facilitators, and decide for yourself if you’d like to register your child for O.W.L. Our Whole Lives, or O.W.L., is a sexual education program- a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate curriculum that introduces key topics like values, body image, gender and sexual identity, peer pressure, and healthy relationships with sensitivity and inclusiveness. It teaches bodily acceptance and embraces the realities of our world in healthy and appropriate ways. The curriculum we are using this fall is built for 4th-6th graders. It is a 10-workshop program that will start on September 15th, 2024. All caregivers are required to attend an Orientation on the 15th in order for their student to take part. The cost is $50 and there are scholarships available.
