In this time that is so permeated by the forces of dehumanization and othering, what does it mean to live into the spiritual truths proclaimed by our Unitarian Universalist faith? How might we experience hope, when, as the song says, “hope is hard to find?” Our love for humanity and for all the complex life forms on this earth is so strong, and we are so deeply interconnected, of course we are afraid. But even in the most perilous of times, love persists. It can hold us and lead us onward.
