Enneagram Workshop

Join us for an Enneagram workshop for new and returning students. The Enneagram is a powerful tool that helps us understand our motivations, core beliefs, and unconscious patterns that drive our behavior. This half-day workshop will be led by Dale Rhodes, Enneagram specialist, mentor, spiritual director, and teacher.  This will be all new material from the one we presented last Fall.

Registration is $20 and scholarships are available by emailing Rev. Kathryn at minister@uucvan.org.

Please register here and then pay for your ticket online here or mail a check to the church.

The Enneagram: Exploring a System Personal Growth, Relationships, Community and Spiritual Development

The Enneagram system reveals that all people belong to one of nine major personality types.  The purpose of the Enneagram is not to put you into a box, but to help you identify both the strengths and the limitations of a preferred strategy and to give you guidance on how you may develop more capacity beyond it.  And of course it is a tool for understanding how to best relate with others too.

The Enneagram offers a roadmap to address the specific challenges of each personality type and to allow the unique virtues of that type to be discovered.  Support for better relationships and communication is a focus of the system, because discovering the “lens” through which we view the world is the first step in our comprehending how others may experience the world differently.  Just a basic understanding of the Nine Points of View broadens your skill in communicating with others, be it in your personal, spiritual, relational or professional life.  People from all walks of life find exploring this material  in community to be educational, transformative and great fun.

If you came to last year’s sermon or workshop, we’ll be deep diving into more content after a short review. If you are new, you’ll get an introduction and be aboard the journey right away.  Join us!

Dale Rhodes from Enneagram Portland returns to help our community learn more together.
