When we adopted new languge to describe our faith, we put love at the center. As the congregation works to define its vision, we welcome new ideas and new members. This service is all about generosity and the future of the UU Church of Vancouver.
How do we resist the avarice, stinginess and individualism of our consumer culture? How do we lead more generous lives?
We all need hope, especially at this time. How does cultivating gratitude help us find the hope that’s needed?
Today marks the beginning of “Peace Corps Week” which ends March 1 on the 64th anniversary of the birth of the Peace Corps, promoting world peace and friendship. We’ll share some stories of service as we seek to transform the world through liberating love.
We all need a foundation of love on which to thrive and grow. Love, by its very nature, connects us. In this culture of separation, we can seek and re-build a foundation of love and connection.
The Coming of Age youth (ages 12-14) share their last six months of learning, laughing, and stories. This is also the first Sunday of our summer schedule. We will offer one worship at 10:30 am. We will return to offering two worship services in September.
